PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION
All patients are encouraged to pay the full amount at the time of consultation. As a minimum, the gap must be paid at the time of the consultation.
If you do not hold a Medicare card, you must pay the account in full on the day of consultation. A receipt will be issued so you can claim a refund through your health insurance.
BULKBILLING
- Children under 16 years of age will be bulk billed by most Doctors
- Old age pensioners will be bulk billed by most Doctors
- DVA card holders will be bulk billed at all times.
- Concession Card holders MUST show their current concession card at the time of their consultation to be bulk billed.
MEDICALS/LICENCING/INSURANCE REPORTS
Fees for Work Medicals, Commercial Drivers and Taxi Licences and Travel Insurance reports are not covered by
Medicare and are the patients responsibility.
Payment is required prior to the release of these documents.
PROCEDURES/DRESSINGS
- A minimum fee of $45 will be charged for all procedures. Higher fees will apply for more extensive procedures. Your Doctor will discuss this with your prior to your procedure.
- ALL complex dressings WILL attract a $18.00 fee.
MENTAL HEALTH CARE PLANS
Mental Health Care Plans may attract a gap payment of $20 - $50 even if you are normally bulk billed. Your doctor will discuss this with you prior.
SCHEDULE OF FEES
If you pay in full on the day, the following fees apply:
- Standard Consultation: $70.00 with a rebate of $38.20 = GAP $31.80
- Long Consultation: $105.00 with a rebate of $73.95 = GAP $31.05
If you pay only the gap on the day or pay in full at a later date, the following fees apply:
- Standard Consultation: $75.00 with a rebate of $38.20 = GAP $36.80
- Long Consultation: $110.00 with a rebate of $73.95 = GAP $36.05
