Physiotherapy - Andres

Originally from Sydney, I completed a Master of Physiotherapy in 2019 at the University of Technology, Sydney. Prior to this, I obtained a full athletic scholarship to Anderson University in South Carolina USA, where I completed a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with a concentration in Pre-Physical Therapy. I have played Soccer at the elite level in Europe, USA and across Australia, where I continue to play in the South Australian NPL1.

I have worked in Private Practice for the past 4 years fulltime in metropolitan Sydney and regional NSW clinics liaising closely with General Practitioner’s, Orthopaedic and Neuro Specialists, Case and Plan managers and a variety of other allied health practitioners. I have a passion tailored for high level sports, Musculoskeletal & orthopaedic rehabilitation. Through my experience and networking, I have had national experience with Sydney FC and International experience with a national football team as Head Physiotherapist. Most recently having travelled to Qatar for the 2022 World Cup Qualifiers.

I am driven by a passion to provide high quality care, from your general aches and pains, to post-operative care, high level sports rehabilitation and injury prevention. 

Remedial Massage Therapist - Marta Fjellheim

‘Marta Fjellheim graduated from EQUALS international with a Diploma of Remedial Massage Therapy. She is a registered member of the Massage and Myotherapy Association and Yoga Alliance. 

Marta combines her knowledge of movement, anatomy and techniques found within Remedial Massage Therapy, to address muscle imbalance, tension and chronic pain management.  This knowledge transfers into her available option of Relaxation Massage, when calming the nervous system and ease discomfort. 

Marta has a background as a Yoga teacher and the importance of addressing muscle imbalances in the body with movement and breath.

Marta believes in building meaningful relationships with her clients that highlights the areas of concerns in a safe and compassionate environment, with a holistic approach to health care.  She is friendly, caring and believes in providing quality, hands-on treatment and advice that help the clients to meet their Health Goals.

Marta’s ambition is to help every client in finding space for themselves, in body and mind, so to be better equipped in achieving holistic health and to become better at life.

In her spare time, Marta enjoys practicing Ashtanga Yoga, teaching yoga, cooking and eating food, and studying a Diploma of Business, in general taking care of herself to better be able to give the best care for her clients.’

 

Psychologist - Oscar Williams

Oscar is a registered psychologist with many years’ experience, having worked in both the public and private sectors including in community mental health, correctional services, private practice and as a senior manager and corporate trainer.

Oscar Williams is passionate about helping clients to overcome issues related to daily life, career direction or mental health. Oscar utilises a strength-based approach that is tailored to each client’s specific needs with the aim to identify evidence-based strategies that are easily applied and have significant results.

Oscar can assist adults and adolescents (16 years old and above) with depression, anxiety, personality-based problems, post-traumatic stress, trauma, emotional regulation, personal/workplace stressors and grief & loss. He has worked extensively with issues such as anger, self-harm/suicidal thinking, interpersonal difficulties and sexual problems. Oscar can also provide psychological assessments (e.g., clinical disorders, personality assessments) and other organisational services (e.g., workshops, seminars, and EAP counselling).

In terms of organisational needs, Oscar also has experience in providing executive coaching, training and professional development courses. In the past he has provided group training to private and public sector workplaces on topics such as Mental Health in the Workplace, Dealing with Difficult Behaviour, Change Management, Resilience, Team Building and Grief & Loss.

Oscar is currently a PhD candidate at the University of Adelaide with his research focusing on palliative care and the criminal justice system.

Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness, Schema Therapy & Clinical Hypnotherapy.

Qualifications:

PhD Candidate, Master of Psychology (Forensic), Bachelor of Psychology (Hons, First Class), Diploma in Clinical Hypnosis, Graduate Certificate in Public Sector Management, Registered Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia.
