I graduated from medical school at Deakin University in 2018. I trained across rural and regional Victoria followed by working in a busy Melbourne Hospital. Looking after seriously unwell patients highlighted the value of good quality primary healthcare.
This is why I returned home to Adelaide to specialise as a GP.
I strive to provide holistic and evidence based non-judgemental care so that my patients feel empowered to live a healthy and thriving life. I like the wide variety general practise has to offer including Aboriginal health, chronic disease management and preventative lifestyle medicine. I have continued to upskill in the following special interests throughout my training:
Skin Cancer: This includes skin checks, surgical and medical management of skin cancer as well as long term monitoring.
- Certificate of Practical Dermoscopy through Dermatology Australia
- Dermatological surgery workshop, DermCert 4 & Introduction to dermoscopy workshop through RACGP
Paediatric and adolescent health: I love looking after kids of all ages, and their unique age specific challenges (from newborns through to teens). Watching them grow and thrive is a special privilege.
- Sydney Children’s Health Certificate (previously known as Diploma in Child Health)
- MCRI Infant Sleep Program
Women’s Health and Sexual Health: periods, menopause, contraception, preventative care, antenatal care, medical termination of pregnancy - no topic too awkward.
- Implanon insertion, removal and mirena removal.
- Accredited obstetric shared care provider
- FPAA Certificate in Reproductive and Sexual Health Course through SHINE SA
Additionally, apart from English, I can speak Hindi and Marathi fluently as well.
Outside of work, you will see me grapple with life as a new Mum to an energetic 7 month old.
