I graduated from Rangpur Medical College, Bangladesh in 1990 and did further studies in Auckland, NZ before migrating to Adelaide in 2002.
I joined the Flinders Medical Centre & worked in different disciplines including general medicine, cardiology, geriatric medicine, paediatric emergency & general accident & emergency until 2005.
With my family, I then moved to Naracoorte (Country SA) as a GP and gained my fellowship (FRACGP) in 2009. As part of this job, I also worked in the A&E at the local hospital and was responsible for managing the hospitals inpatients.
After working in Naracoorte for 10 yrs, we decided to move back to Adelaide and I joined this vibrant practice!
My special interests lie in managing day to day health related problems with a great attitude and in a friendly manner. I have vast experience in managing children and am well known to quickly build up friendships with them – I can be found shaking hands with a toddler or carrying around a baby!
I also have special interests in minor skin surgery, toe nail operations, geriatric medicine & chronic health conditions.
Outside of work, I am a Husband & proud Father of one 15 yr old baby and cricket is my life! I love every aspect of the game and support both Australia & Bangladesh fervently which is tricky at times!
