Claire grew up in Adelaide and began her professional life as a Maths and Science Teacher in Private and then Public schools.  She completed a Bachelor of Education, followed by a Masters of Education in Computing.  In 2000, she had a change of direction and commenced a medical degree at Flinders University.  She joined Windsor Village Medical Centre in 2006 and obtained her Fellowship of General Practice in 2008.   

Claire has a keen interest in Women’s Health and the Health of Children, completing a Diploma of Child Health in 2005.  Her passion for education persists and Claire believes that health outcomes are largely influenced by education.  Preventative care, information sharing and education are a focus of her consulting style.   As one of the Practice Principals, Claire is committed to understanding change and keeping up with new technology.  

Claire is kept busy out of hours by her family, including her three teenage sons.  She values the importance of fitness for health, previously having been a keen tennis player, but now opting for daily long walks.
